Cancellation of Trip

Sailing Date: 12th November 2022

Following on from a period of high winds and rainfall, although the river has returned to acceptable  levels, as can be seen from the images to the right, there is a considerable amount of flotsam and jetsam on the river.

With high tides reaching over the barrage, it is not expected that the debris will be cleared by Saturday.

Some of the larger pieces of wood could cause severe damage to the propeller making it unsafe to travel.

In the interest of safety, we are sorry to say that the sailing on Saturday 12th November has been cancelled.
