A private, non-profit making organisation dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the Neath and Tennant Canals in South Wales

Throughout the life of the Swansea Community Boat Project, we have received (and continue to receive) help and support from a huge number of organisations and individuals.

As a small token of our appreciation, here you will find links to their own web sites.

If you have a web site and would like to appear in our "Hall of Fame", please let us know.
South Wales Boat Show

The City and County of Swansea have supported the Swansea Community Boat Trust's project from the outset.

Their help has included (but not limited to); financial support through their Compact Funding programme, providing a secure mooring from the Swansea Museum's Floating Exhibit landing stage and hosting meeting of the Trust Board.

Thanks to Ben and Claire Sutcliffe of the South Wales Boat Show and to the IWA, we will once again be at the Boat Show in Margam Park on 13th-15th June. Why not come along to talk to us about the Community Boat?

In previous years, unlike the majority of other exhibitors who were there to promote their businesses with spectacular boats and equipment, our not-so-glossy gazebo in 2006 still pulled in hundreds of visitors all of whom were in support of our Project.

This year, thanks to the IWA we will have use of a superb marquee and will be joined by other local waterways groups including; the Neath and Tennant Canals Trust, Swansea Canal Society and the Monmouthshire Brecon & Abergavenny Canal Trust as well the the Inland Waterways Association.
