The
new National Waterfront Museum will attract an estimated 250,000 visitors
each year. The thinking behind "HERIAN" is that visitors should
be encouraged to also visit the early industrial sites around Swansea.
The
Community Boat is ideally placed to help visitors access the historic
Transport and Copper sites in the lower Swansea Valley.
Visitors
will benefit from a broader understanding of their heritage. Local communities
will benefit from increased visitor spending and, hopefully, extra jobs.
