The Swansea Community Boat will be based at the Swansea Museum Floating Exhibits landing stage, right outside the National Waterfront Museum.

The Trust plans to run boat trips on the Tawe River Navigation, for the benefit of the local community. The Swansea Community Boat will also serve as a "floating classroom" for schools and lifelong learning.
